Sliding Boom Gates

Sliding Boom Gates are engineered to offer greater security and resistance to vandalism than standard boom gate models, controlling access in medium to high transit areas.

Constructed from steel (galvanised or powder coated) the sliding boom gate slides into place to prevent vehicle access whilst still enabling access to pedestrians. As a result, they are highly suitable as a means of restricting access to remote parks, shopping centres or commercial and industrial properties where extra security is required.

The control systems incorporated in sliding boom gates are easily interfaced with access control systems, and enable programming of set open and closing times throughout the day. The sliding boom gate is able to be operated remotely, and numerous safety devices including photoelectric beams and induction safety loops are also available. Along with a solar option these units are strong, reliable and long lasting, with little ongoing maintenance due to its simple design are a good ecomonic choice.
